OKAY KIDS
I'm going to try another writing exercise. I have a fantastic story idea in mind, that I'd LOVE to try, but I want to get some practice in before I start on it. And considering I really like writing for the couples me and my friends' couples (my friends are, most likely, the only ones going to comment here), I've decided to gather some plots from a Tumblr called 'Imagine Your OTP', which is pretty cute. Here are your options, guys - pick a plot, and tell me what couple you want for it. You can pick as many plots as you want, because I won't start writing until I have a couple for each plot. By the way, a couple can be used more than once. ALSO TELL ME WHO PERSON A IS IN THE COUPLE AND WHO PERSON B IS!
Here are the plots!
CUTE PROMPTS
1. Imagine your OTP catching snowflakes on their tongues and Person A gets the urge to kiss Person B and they lure them over which leads to a make out in the snow.
2. Imagine your OTP staying up all night wrapping presents for their children at the last minute. Person A wraps them so haphazardly that Person B winds up doing the majority of the work.
3. Imagine your OTP going out and playing in the snow, having snowball fights, making snow angels, etc. They're all bundled up against the cold, but for some reason Person A's scarf keeps coming undone. Person B will frequently stop what they are doing to fix it, gently teasing Person A about it and eventually growing suspicious that Person A is purposefully undoing the scarf to Person B come fix it.
4. Imagine person A of your OTP holding person B's hand and distracting them while person B is getting a shot.
5. Imagine your OTP being separated for months, and Person A thinks Person B is dead, only to run into them on the street where they can do nothing but hug them tightly.
EMOTIONAL PROMPTS
1. Imagine your OTP lives far away from each other, and can only talk online or through letters. Imagine them getting closer and closer, but never being able to touch or be together. Imagine them planning and collecting the adequate funds to finally meet, even though it's hard. Now, imagine your OTP finally meeting, and embracing the second they're within arms reach. They know the voice and the face so well, and everything else about them fits so perfectly they never want to let go.
2. Imagine your OTP in a zombie apocalypse and person A has been bitten, and person B refuses to leave them in their last moments before they convert, resulting in person B dying along with A.
3. Imagine Person A of your OTP helping Person B look for a kick-knack they lost that they wanted to take with them on the business trip they have to leave for in a minute, and are unsuccessful. When Person A gets back home from driving Person B to the airport, they find the lost item on the floor. They carry it around with them in their hand until the Person B returns a few weeks later, to help them cope with the separation.
4. Imagine person A of your OTP in a really bad mood and wanting to be left alone, but person B stays around because they want to at least keep person A company.
5. Imagine Person A is awake, and they are waiting on person B to wake up. Person A gets back in bed with Person B and snuggles with them.
PARENTING PROMPTS
1. Imagine your OTP being woken up in the middle of the night by their baby crying. Person A is usually the one to take care of the child during the night but Person B can see how tired they are and kisses their forehead before telling them to go back to sleep and getting up to take care of the baby.
2. Imagine your OTP waking up early in the morning and finding a baby in a basket on their front step. Person A is enthusiastic about bringing it inside but person B is hesitant, but as soon as person A gets them to hold the baby, person B fall in love with it and realize that it was meant for them to take care of it as a family.
3. Imagine your OTP playing Peek-a-Boo with their baby.
4. Imagine your OTP being called into their child's school by a teacher/principal because their child got in trouble for getting in a fight with another student.
5. Imagine your OTP going trick or treating! (May or may not include their children.)
