Esmeralda Crawford (or Esmeralda Mendeleev, now) was not one to wake up early, ever. Even now that she was married and had things to do, she slept as late as she could. Her husband, Connor, was always the first to wake up. He'd go downstairs and make breakfast for the both of them, not bothering to wake her. He didn't mind, anyway.
This morning, though, was different. Esmeralda sat up in her bed, looking around the room before her eyes eventually landed on her husband. He was peacefully asleep, his arm draped over her stomach, right under her chest, though it had moved down a little since she had sat up. She felt herself smile at him - this wasn't a rarity, as every time she saw Connor she smiled. It was an instinct.

EternityKablama sighed nervously as she looked in the mirror. It's almost time, she thought. Her bright red hair, newly dyed, was pulled back into a ponytail, and she wore a new dress. It was pink, with silver decorations on it. She sighed again, feeling anxious about what was going to happen. She was only going to a school dance; well, a very important one, but still just a school dance. Maybe it was the fact she didn't have anyone to go with made her nervous? Either way, she wasn't as happy as she should've been. Kablama stood up from the pink wooden stool she had been sitting on, moving to sit on her bed. She was stereotypically feminine; her room was decorated with pastel colors; pinks, greens, a bit of purple, white. It was a little cluttered, as of late, due to her more recent laziness. The redhead had been more concentrated on (failing to) find a date than most things.
